Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing tender and contract documents
- Performing cost analysis and risk assessments
- Valuing completed work and arranging payments
- Tracking changes in design and updating cost projections;Advising on procurement strategy
- Monitoring material and labor costs
- Preparing interim and final accounts
- Managing subcontractor valuations and payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- 5+ years of experience in construction cost management
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procedures
- Proficiency in cost estimating software (e.g. CostX, Candy)
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Membership in NIQS or relevant professional body.
