FRCC to Participate in Upgrade of 187 Primary Health Centers Across Kano State

FRCC is proud to announce its proposed collaboration with the Kano State Government in the comprehensive upgrade of 187 Primary Health Centers (PHCs) across the state. This initiative is part of the Nigeria Improved Child Survival Program, aiming to enhance immunization and malaria services, thereby improving healthcare delivery and child survival rates.

The project, funded by the World Bank and managed by the State Primary Health Care Management Board, involves significant renovations, including structural improvements, provision of medical equipment, and training of healthcare personnel. FRCC’s role encompasses the construction and refurbishment aspects, ensuring that each PHC meets the required standards for effective service delivery.

Matthew K. Faleye, President/CEO of FRCC, stated, “Our commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure is unwavering. By supporting government in upgrading these PHCs, we aim to help provide accessible and quality healthcare services to the residents of Kano State, particularly in underserved areas.”

The project is expected to be completed within the stipulated timeframe, with minimal disruption to existing services. Upon completion, the upgraded PHCs will significantly contribute to reducing child mortality rates and enhancing overall public health in the region.
